Tasting notes and highlights from my travels…
Bar Tiberio – On the piazzetta. Great to stop for before or after dinner drinks.
Quisisana – The iconic Grand Hotel, this resort is in the middle of everything. Grand and gilt with high class service. Some rooms have great sea views. The bar in front of the hotel is a great place for aperitivo and people watching.
Da Paolino – Nothing says Capri like lemons, so this restaurant in a lemon grove is perfect. Delicious classic Italian menu, but leave room for dessert as they have heavenly lemon profiteroles!
Grazia e Marcia Vozza – One of a kind jewelry pieces made by designers Grazia and Marcia.
Carthusia – Perfume shop with airy fragrances inspired by the island. Offers a great home fragrance range as well.
Gardens of Augustus – Charming garden offers spectacular views of the Faraglioni rocks and down onto the long and winding Via Krupp.
Church of San Michele – A real gem of a church has the most breathtaking majolica painted floor.
Piazza Diaz – For the beautiful painted benches.
Villa San Michele – Has beautiful gardens and romantic views
Antonio Viva – is a legend with his tiny workshop where he makes only the finest sandals. Choose from an extensive variety of colored straps and bejeweled bands and he will make them to your order and size in mere minutes.
